The DR1000 is a lightweight and powerful document and passport reading device. It is equipped with a high-resolution pixel imaging system and a RFID reader, which can read the second-generation ID cards and exit-entry permit for travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao, residence permit for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao residents, provinces and cities residence permits, electronic passports and visas that comply with the ICAO DOC 9303 standard. It supports automatic identification of document types and automatic extraction of information, that can simplify manual intervention and reduce learning time for operators.
